Leah Amrhein is an attorney at Simon & Simon, PC, where she concentrates her practice on personal injury litigation. 

Prior to joining Simon & Simon, PC, Ms. Amrhein worked in private practice as a trial attorney handling personal injury, criminal defense, immigration, family law, real estate, landlord/tenant, consumer, and estate planning matters.  She has experience handling personal injury cases on both the plaintiff and defense side.

Before entering private practice, Ms. Amrhein served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, where she represented the Commonwealth in a variety of criminal cases and gained extensive trial experience.  She was awarded the Spotlight Award for Outstanding Prosecution at the Massachusetts District Attorney Association Statewide Conference in 2014.  Ms. Amrhein went on to become Assistant General Counsel for the Department of Mental Health, where she argued and appeared on behalf of the agency in civil commitment hearings to petition to keep persons who presented a danger committed to locked facilities to protect the public.
Ms. Amrhein earned her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts, where she was the recipient of the Best Brief Award and the Best Oral Advocate Award.  She was invited to join and is actively a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society, and served on the Transnational Law Review.  In her third year of law school, Ms. Amrhein petitioned and became authorized by the Supreme Judicial Court pursuant to Rule 3:03 to serve as a student prosecutor for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, where she gained significant courtroom experience handling a variety of criminal trials.

Ms. Amrhein is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for Massachusetts, and is committed to providing outstanding legal representation to injured victims.
